Sources and References
Emeritus Health, LLC. is committed to providing the research that supports the efficacy of the 'Balance University' and 'Graduates' programs. Along with strength, posture, flexibility and balance specific exercises that will improve one's balance, it is our responsibility to provide our references and sources that led us to believe these pillars to be key to better balance and independence. The research and studies by numerous groups, companies, organizations as well as universities that have been used in our classes and lectures are available below so that we remain transparent and true to our committment to the Senior population. 'Balance University' and the 'Graduates Program' use exercises as part of evidence-based programs to provide the highest quality and most objective data to improve the lives of Seniors. The research and resources put into the exercises that are in this program have been proven and studied extensively. Specifically, their impacts on strength, posture, flexibility and balance.
This page is dedicated to our research and sources that we cite in our classes and lectures. We have made our sources available to everyone so that they may conduct their own independent research and become informed students of balance and independence. In fact, we encourage folks to double check us and even, call us out when we are wrong. Our aim is to provide the public with the most up-to-date, accurate and scientific research available. Also, who doesn't love reading research articles!!
