"I started working with Chris and using the fundamentals of Balance University four years ago. At the time I could not complete 18 holes of golf without pain in my lower back, which would cause bad shots and diminish the fun of playing golf. This past weekend I played four rounds of golf, including walking Pinehurst Number 2, with Zero pain, no drop in performance and truly getting to enjoy the sport I love. For anyone that loves playing golf, wants to improve your scores and play without pain, I would wholeheartedly endorse Balance University and Chris Williams. Chris and his program have improved my flexibility, strengthened my core and eliminated the back pain that I though was part of growing older – Thanks Chris!" |

Mr. Jim Hardisty
Dear Chris,
I want to thank you for the opportunity to participate in your program for the past several weeks. Your knowledge and expertise is certainly evident in the treatment for my balance and walking problems. I have had treatments for my problems at various rehab facilities, but with limited success. I feel that I can now work on my own to further improve my balance and walking.
Pat and I would like to thank you for your patience, knowledge and support.

Looking at the photos, it is hard to believe how much I changed in about nine months (I was 43 in the photos, and have lost 100 pounds). I was healthy and fit until my mid-twenties, but years of working a stressful desk job, becoming a mother, and suddenly a widow, took a toll on me, and I somehow stopped taking care of myself. I began working with Chris Williams in July, 2011. We met three times a week to train for a half hour. I also walked on my own. Chris gave me advice about my diet (which does not mean starving yourself), and was always encouraging. Within a few weeks I felt much better. My endurance, balance, flexibility and strength all began to improve. I had far more energy. After about 6 weeks, I could see results. I cannot deny that I was very disciplined with both my diet and exercise. (I did not take any medicine or supplements). Chris’ expert advice and guidance were invaluable. I have now been working out and eating healthy for over two years. I could not imagine living any other way. If you are thinking about making a positive change, I absolutely encourage you to contact Chris. Two years later, he is still challenging and educating me. You can do it if you want it!
Dr. Stewart Rose
Chris has been my personal trainer and he is excellent. He is young, personable and always has progressive, well planned sessions. I cannot recommend him more highly. Alas, I must
suspend our program until returning to Florida next October. In the meantime, we will continue with the program via email and Skype.

Cheryl Hastings
I've been working with Chris for 2 years and have seen amazing results in that time. I have never felt stronger or healthier. Chris is passionate about fitness and it shows through the energy and enthusiasm he brings to every session. His easy going, friendly personality creates a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. He makes each workout challenging, creative and most importantly, fun! He also places a high value on correct form with each exercise. He motivates me to push past my perceived limits to get results. I have incredible energy, my balance and flexibility have improved immensely and I've got great new muscles. If you are serious about changing your life for the better, Chris will lead you every step of the way. -Cheryl H
Mr. Frank & Eileen Poczatek
My name is Eileen, and Chris has been working with my husband for two seasons now. Frank, my husband, had a stroke a few years ago that left him with some mobility and balance issues. Along with the stroke, Frank had both of his knees replaced and needed someone to motivate him to stay active, work on his leg strength, as well as his balance and gait.
I am very pleased with the job Chris is doing to keep Frank active and moving. Along with being knowledgeable about Frank’s conditions, Chris understands how to exercise him according to his medications, including his blood pressure meds. Chris has a very high standard of professionalism and always treats Frank with respect. He makes weight bearing and balance exercises an enjoyable activity for all involved.
I am thankful Dr. Khan referred us to Emeritus Health and to a professional like Chris. I will continue to use him and his services as long as we are coming to southwest Florida.

mr. joe davis
Mr. Joe Davis has been working out with Emeritus Health for almost 6 months to improve his balance, increase stability and increase muscular strength in his upper and lower body. In addition, he performs exercises that will increase overall core strength. Flexibility training is an important tool to increase use in his legs and arms, particularly in his shoulder, where an injury has led to limited range of motion. The flexibility and strength training has been beneficial in giving Mr. Davis more range of motion, as well as more muscular endurance and lean muscle mass.
He has been able to stay consistent with his workout routine, which has lead to increases in his strength and endurance. Mr. Davis really enjoys his workouts and has a goal to do 100 reps on the leg press with 175 lbs. by Feb. 8, 2013! We'll keep you posted!!

Mrs. Carol Dalzell
Mrs. Carol Dalzell worked in the journalism field in New York, as well as being a bit of a socialite in those days. She enjoys theatrical performances and movies with friends and family.
Mrs. Dalzell has been a client for over a year and very much enjoys her exercises that have been modified specific to her needs and lifestyle. We exercise 3 days a week working on flexibility, neuromuscular efficiency, balance and stability which aids in those trips to the theatre, grocery store and other shopping trips. The extra muscular strength and endurance gained during the exercises gives her more confidence and independence.
